Jamie's Story

   In the spring of 2007, I decided that I wanted to travel somewhere for six weeks, somewhere that I could just relax & let my creativity flow. I eventually chose Maui, Hawaii as my special place to explore & retreat. My first day on the island, I instantly felt a deep understanding that Maui had a lot to offer & teach me. There was no doubt in my mind that I chose the exact place that I needed to be at that particular time in my life. I felt such a sence of serenity, there was magic in the air, serendipity at every turn & I was instantly at peace. That is the magic of Hawaii, the spirit of aloha that captured my soul, before I even understood what it was. During my time there, I met strong spirited people, many of whom were local Hawaiians. Over time, they taught me a lot about the culture, the spirit of aloha & the island's powerful mana.

   Later that year, I decided to move to Maui for 3-4 months & I ended up spending 7 months there.  During this time, things where not always easy & I did have to experience some difficult lessons, but looking back I am grateful. Every time I have to leave that island I cry, my spirit is already yearning for my return. In 2009, I went back to Maui to celebrate one of the most important days of my life thus far, my wedding day in traditional Hawaiian style. 

   Even though I currently live in Vail, Colorado, I find myself frequently day dreaming about returning to Hawaii. Hawaii has had such an important role in my spiritual growth, I realized that I wanted to feel that magical spirit of aloha no matter where I was living.  So I decided to merge all my careers & creative endeavors into one company, inspired by the magic, peace & aloha I felt in Maui...aaah, "Sweet Mana."  Sweet Mana Spatique includes all the things that I love & believe in, from massage & skin care, handmade jewelry & swimsuits, to eco-friendly body products & feng shui.  Sweet Mana Spatique is a lovely place to find soulful gifts to help us all live & feel the magic of the islands.

   I am currently a licensed massage therapist, esthetician & feng shui consultant.  I also create natural body products, soy massage candles & handmade jewelry.  Please help me spread "Sweet Mana," aloha & magic into the hands & spirits of those who receive my products, gifts & services.
